Alex is one of the founders of Hey, Inc. and has participated in the development of Heyday in a variety of ways from contributing code to pushing pixels. Before that Alex was the co-creator and head of product management for CityVille and was the CTO and co-founder of Serious Business (acquired by Zynga).As CTO, Alex sets the overall direction for the companyâ€™s technical architecture.
Prior to Serious Business, Alex served as a software engineer for Powerset, a natural language search engine acquired by Microsoft for $100 million in August of 2008. Prior to his time at Powerset, Alex was a software engineer at Yellowpages.com, where he managed the sites transition to a Ruby on Rails infrastructure..Alex holds a Bachleor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Irvine.
