Alex Laskey is the President and Co-Founder of Opower, the global leader in cloud-based software for the utility industry. Opower's technology platform combines behavioral science, data management, and insightful analytics to transform the way utilities relate to their customers.
Under Laskey's leadership, Opower has grown from a two-person startup to a publicly traded company whose software is used by more than half of the largest electric and gas utilities in the world. Alex leads all external relations for Opower, frequently speaking on topics ranging from innovation in software to the evolving utility business model.
In 2013, Alex delivered a keynote presentation at TED's annual conference, was listed on Fortune's 40 under 40 list and was a Technology Pioneer at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
Alex serves on the board of the Conservation Lands Foundation and received his B.A. from Harvard College.
