Alex Guibord is a community manager and digital strategist focused on helping clients achieve their marketing and communications goals online. His specialties include building and engaging audiences through social media and measuring influence across the web.
Before joining Toronto-based media agency UpVote Inc., Alex managed online communities and produced digital content for Justin Trudeau and the Liberal Party of Canada. He previously worked at leading Canadian media outlets as a consultant, producer, and freelance journalist, including CTV News, Pilot PMR, Channel Zero Inc. and Juice Mobile.
He sat on IAB Canada's mobile marketing course oversight committee in 2013, contributing his expertise in social media driven market research.
Alex holds a Bachelor of Journalism from Ryerson University and a master’s degree in strategic public relations from the University of Sydney.
