Alek is a co-founder & CEO of GetGoing, Inc
Alek is responsible for the overall strategic direction of the company. Immediately prior to founding GetGoing ™ he was a consultant with Bain & Co. in New York, where he developed growth strategies for companies in consumer products and retail industries. Prior to Bain, Alek led a team that successfully designed, implemented, and marketed a cloud-based human resources technology platform that is used by many of the Fortune 500 companies. He also held a number of senior management positions at Gap, Inc., where he worked on the company’s expansion into new markets in Europe and Asia.
Alek holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley. An avid traveler, Alek is a member of the Board of Directors of Youth Hostelling International.
