With a broad scope of digital and mobile media experience, Alec and his team help realize the future of scalable mobile advertising by pioneering our clients’ mobile strategies and guiding strategic vision for MoVoxx. MoVoxx (backed by Greycroft Partners, Khosla Ventures, First Round Capital and BV Capital) is a mobile network that aggregates over 250mm US mobile SMS content and leverages it as distribution media for advertisers to drive targeted audience to interactive mobile media experiences. Using its ad-optimization patented technology, MoVoxx focuses on maximizing mobile user interaction and outperforms industry-benchmarks, from initial click engagement to ROI-measured mobile performance metrics.
Prior to MoVoxx, Alec founded inFreeDA (acquired by AT&T) – a free 411 advertiser-sponsored directory assistance service that delivered ads with laser-precise geographical, behavioral and category targeting (backed by Hummer Winblad Venture Partners). Alec led a mobile expert team that built an industry-first free 411 mobile subscriber base of over 1mm users and revenue streams within a 411 call from partnerships with interactive agencies, pay-per-call platforms, online ad networks as well as traditional brands.
Before inFreeDA, Alec worked at JPMorgan Global Investment Banking within the media and telecommunications leveraged finance group in New York and executed debt financings for media companies such as Oxygen Media, News Corp, DirecTV Group and Dex Media. At the time, the traditional advertising and internet channels were over-promising returns and, for the most part, under-delivering in the marketplace, so Alec turned to a mobile medium to find an answer.
Mr. Andronikov earned a double degree in Economics and Business Administration at the Haas School of Business from the University of California, Berkeley, where he graduated with Honors. In his spare time, Alec enjoys exploring mountain biking trails, jogging and wine tasting – though not always in that order.
