Alec Andronikov

After seeing an opportunity to monetize the singing voice as a largely-overlooked micro-content sharing medium, Alec founded Just Sing It - the first mobile platform that gamifies mobile singing discovery.

Before Just Sing It, Alec was a Founding Partner at DMR Partners - an exclusive, invitation-only digital media thought leadership consortium which helped marketing executives discover, curate, and evaluate the latest media innovations. Alec and his Partners grew DMR from zero to 250+ agency and brand executives, who today manage over $3.2 billion of digital media spend globally.

Prior to that, Alec was the CEO and co-founder of MoVoxx, a leading mobile advertising company that intelligently served ads into mobile content reaching over 50 million unique U.S. users. Backed by Greycroft Partners, Khosla Ventures, First Round Capital and BV Capital, MoVoxx was acquired by Adenyo and later Motricity (NASDAQ: MOTR) in January 2011 for $100mm.

Alec stayed on as EVP & GM-Mobile, where he oversaw global sales strategy, operations and strategic partnerships - divisions that played an instrumental role in building the company’s leadership in the mobile ecosystem.

Prior to MoVoxx, Alec founded inFreeDA – a free 411 advertiser-sponsored directory assistance service that delivered ads with laser-precise geographical, behavioral and category targeting. Backed by Hummer Winblad Venture Partners, inFreeDA was acquired by AT&T (NYSE: T) in October 2006.

Alec’s previous experience includes investment banking at JPMorgan in the media and telecommunications leveraged finance group.

A recognized industry leader, Alec is a limited partner/advisor at Eniac Ventures and Naya Ventures - mobile-focused venture funds; an advisor to Hearst Corporation on mobile investments, and a regular speaker at conferences such as SXSW, CES, Digital Hollywood, iMedia, Advertising Week and OMMA Global. Mr. Andronikov earned a double Honors degree in Economics and Business Administration at the Haas School of Business from the University of California, Berkeley.

In his spare time, Alec enjoys international travel, yoga and wine tasting – though not always in the same order.
