Albert Santalo

Mr. Santalo is President and CEO of CareCloud Corporation. An experienced entrepreneur, he founded the Company in 2009 with the vision of becoming a healthcare information technology leader focused on eliminating the waste and inefficiency in the healthcare industry today. Previously, Mr. Santalo was Founder and Chairman of Avisena, a software-enabled revenue cycle management company in the healthcare industry. He led the growth of the firm from $0 to $16 million, increasing revenue an average of 55% per year between 2004 and 2008. He is also the lead inventor and received a U.S. patent for Avisena’s Accounts Receivable Management Methodology.

Mr. Santalo also has extensive experience working with Global 2000 companies, assisting them with business process transformation. He previously worked at The Hackett Group/Answerthink (NASDAQ: HCKT), a management and technology consulting firm, where he served as Director in the IT Transformation and Strategy Practice. Some of his global clients included Bausch and Lomb, Ivax Pharmaceuticals, Roche Pharmaceuticals, AOL/Time Warner, Waste Management, 3Com Corporation, Republic Industries, Florida Power and Light, ADP/TotalSource, Alliance Data Systems, Precision Response Corporation, AutoNation USA, and First Data Corporation. Mr. Santalo has also held several leadership positions at information technology consulting and outsourcing firms.

Mr. Santalo holds a Master of Business Administration Degree from Florida International University and is a member of various industry associations. He is the recipient of the FIU 2004 Charles E. Perry Visionary Award for outstanding alumni and was inducted to the FIU Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame in 2006. Mr. Santalo was also recognized by the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce as a Best Up and Coming Technology Innovator and named to the Top 50 Entrepreneurs by South Florida Business Leader in 2010.
