Albert Ko is a web entrepreneur in San Francisco, CA. He has a passion for deals, coupons, and helping people save money. He was voted Top 40 Under 40 by OC Metro in 2009. He has also appeared on Fox News TV, KDOC TV, and in SmartMoney, NBC, and more for his retail expertise.
Albert was previously the co-founder and CEO of DealPerk.com, a group discounting eCommerce portal that drives new business to hyperlocal merchants through a simple online platform. The company grew to over 6 figures in revenue within months and was acquired in December 2010. The company is now a part of Local.com.
Albert also previously co-founded CheapCheapCheap.com, a bargain hunting website that partnered with Amazon, Buy.com, MGM Properties, and more. He grew the site to drive over $1MM in new business to online retailers in 2009 and 2010.
Prior to the web space, Albert worked at General Electric and graduated from the Commercial Leadership Program. He managed $5MM in sales volume and provided value on material selection, manufacturing, and marketing.
In his free time, Albert enjoys networking among his community, helping others with community service, and learning about new emerging trends/technologies.
