Alan ran a mobile photo sharing startup out of his Berkeley dorm room on $800 out of pocket (much of which went to Zachary’s Pizza) before it was acquired by iLike in 2006. Previously he was at Microsoft and the startup incubator that pioneered Google’s advertising technology.
