Alan Jones consults to early-stage companies and new product development teams, helping with online strategy for communications, product development and marketing.

Alan draws on hands-on experience founding and co-founding web and mobile startups, as well as senior management experience in larger companies including Yahoo!, News Digital Media and Microsoft. At Yahoo! he was Product Director, South Asia for Yahoo! Inc.

Alan advises and invests in early-stage startups directly and through Startmate and Pollenizer Ventures. His investments include ChromaSun, BugHerd, Grabble (acquired by WalMart in 2011), ScriptRock, Flightfox, Spreets (acquired by Yahoo7 in 2011), OtherLevels and NinjaBlocks.

Alan is a co-founder of digital agency The New Agency, Editor-in-Chief of FromLittleThings.co, is a mentor for Startmate, and is the Social Media and Web Director for TEDxSydney.
