Alan Gould founded IAG Research and built the company into the leading provider of engagement metrics in the television industry. He served as its co-CEO until the company was acquired by Nielsen for $250 Million. IAG’s lead venture investors were Insight Investment Partners and Bessemer Venture Partners. As Co-CEO, Alan was involved in all aspects of IAG’s product development, sales, and ongoing financing. Following the company’s merger with Nielsen, Alan then created and served as CEO of Advertiser Solutions, a business unit of The Nielsen Company that provides end to end marketing solutions to large and global advertisers.
Alan is a Venture Partner with Greycroft Partners and serves on the Board of Directors of Crowd Computing Software and is a Board observer at Netsertive. He served on the Board of Directors of VIZU which was acquired in July 2012 by Nielsen. Gould also served on the boards of Harris Interactive (2011-2012) and the READ Alliance (2008-2012), an organization devoted to improving reading skills of at risk youth.
Alan is a graduate of the New York University School of Law (J.D.), Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government (M.P.P.), and the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service (B.S.F.S.).
