Adena DeMonte is the Director of Marketing at Badgeville, The Behavior Platform. Employee #3 at Badgeville, Adena joined the company early on to help define the marketing strategy for the then young startup, which has since secured $15M in funding and grown to 50 employees with over 100 customers.
Prior to Badgeville, Adena led a varied career, beginning as a journalist at The Palo Alto Weekly, and turning to technology journalism, covering venture capital, cleantech, the internet, mobile, and social for publications including Red Herring, GigaOm (Earth2Tech), and Mobile Marketing Watch. With a growing passion for startups, her next role took her to Diddit.com, an online community for tracking and discovering life experiences, where she was the Community & User Relations manager. She then ran Social Media Marketing for Nokia Point & Find, an image recognition “augmented reality” application. In this role, Adena managed Point & Find’s social media marketing for Nokia & Tim Kring’s Emmy-nominated Alternate Reality Game “Conspiracy for Good.”
