Adam “Wicks†Walker has founded numerous companies in the internet and media sectors, landing four times among the top 100 of the Inc. 500 list of fastest growing private companies in the U.S, as well as the fastest growing lists of the Los Angeles Business Journal and the Deloitte Technology Fast 50. He plays the role of strategist and deal maker in each company, and has closed more than a dozen corporate finance transactions securing more than $100 million. Before W4, he was a partner in Hydra, which was named the fastest growing internet company in Los Angeles in 2007 while under the management team now running W4. Before exiting Hydra, he sold a minority interest in the company for $30 million. Wicks also has an independent record label and invests in numerous media, technology and entertainment projects. He also serves on the Board of the Downtown LA Art Walk, a monthly art event that draws more than 10,000 people.
