Adam Berrey is an entrepreneur and startup executive with a long history in the Internet software industry.
Since 2008 Adam has been, developing new companies, working in the venture and angel investing community, and advising entrepreneurs in businesses ranging from startups to public companies. Today he is an EIR at North Bridge Venture Partners.
Prior to his current work, Adam served as SVP, Marketing & Strategy at Brightcove, responsible for developing and implementing Brightcoveâ€™s marketing and business strategies. Adam joined Brightcove from Onfolio where he was President and part of the founding team responsible for launching the company in 2004. (Microsoft purchased Onfolio.)
Prior to Onfolio, Adam was the VP, Marketing at Macromedia where he led the launch of the Macromedia MX platform for rich internet applications (RIA). Adam joined Macromedia when they merged with Allaire in 2001. He was part of the founding team at Allaire, and during his five year tenure, he held a variety of positions leading strategic marketing and business efforts in product management, product marketing, marketing communications, and business strategy helping to grow the company from $500,000 to more than $100 million in annual revenue, an IPO, and a peak market capitalization that was over $2 billion.
