Abhijit is a Telecom Engineer and was a Major in the Indian Army - Signals, till 2002, when he quit and started working on his own. During his early years, he was a successful shareware developer of engineering and educational software which are popular all over the world. His travails since 2002, included bioinformatics, online video streaming, a stint as a Product Manager in a large dotcom company. Since 2008, he has been running a startup which is into development of new usability technologies that allow people to write in all languages of India and the world on the mobile phone - fast and ergonomically through a breakthrough of statistical predictive texting. The technologies have won many awards and recognitions all over the world.
Abhijit received a liberal education in some of the leading schools and institutions in India including the RIMC, National Defence Academy, IISc, IITs. He is a skilled orator and his presentations on their new technologies have been extremely popular.
