ProjectSpeaker has changed the narrative for how event, meeting and conference planners search for professional speakers and event suppliers. ProjectSpeaker consolidates both independent speakers and the leading speakers bureaus in the highly-fragmented professional speaking industry. Simultaneously, we gather planner activity data to provide event suppliers with actionable data they can use to increase their returns. We are addressing key planner pain points of finding relevant speakers for their events. We subsequently leverage their attention to market suppliers looking to capture a significant portion of the $13 Billion market (IBISWorld 2012) with a) an RFP engine b) a recommendation engine and c) data analysis and take a share of the gross revenue generated, in addition to other revenue streams.
Founded in 2012, ProjectSpeaker has established a global footprint with speakers bureaus from North & South America, Europe and Africa. Our unique business model enables speakers, agents and bureaus to leverage the ProjectSpeaker platform at no cost.
Positioned as the hub in the planner’s search for speakers, ProjectSpeaker is able to collect volumes of data on all aspects of planner activity. Mining and presenting this data, ProjectSpeaker creates a value-add product that speakers and bureaus can leverage to fine tune their marketing message.
ProjectSpeaker currently uses an internal direct sales force for its supplier directory sales. The company is looking to expand by establishing an outside sales force to quickly grow the number of suppliers in the directory. In addition, ProjectSpeaker has achieved measurable success through a number of social media channels.
