Pligg CMS enables you to create on online community where users can submit articles, vote on them, and leave comments. While most content management systems are designed for only a handful of authors, Pligg CMS was designed from the ground up as a way for a large number of contributors to submit and moderate content. Registered users, as well as visitors in some circumstances, are in control of the website’s content.
Requirements: Pligg CMS runs on LAMP servers (Linux, Apache, MySQL 5+, and PHP 5+). This means that most shared, VPS, or dedicated web hosts will be compatible out of the box. If you are interested in trying out Pligg without signing up for a web hosting account, you can run it on your local computer for free using software applications like WAMP (Windows) or MAMP (Mac).
