Viajala (formerly Escapar) is a travel metasearch company, based in Medellín, Colombia.
Viajala compares dozen of travel sites at once, including top travel brands and suppliers from across LATAM, allowing prospect travelers to save time and money.
Like no other travel search websites, Viajala overcame the problem of travel supply fragmentation in LATAM by directly integrating low cost carriers, local travel agencies and national/regional airlines to offer an exhaustive inventory to its fast-growing base of prospect travelers.
Viajala has currently operations in Colombia, Chile and Peru.
Viajala was funded by seed government programs Start-Up Chile (top 6% applicant), Ruta-N and seed accelerator Socialatom Ventures.
Its founding team includes former executives from PriceMinister.com/Rakuten, voyages-scnf.com, shopzila.com and hotels.com
