Amazon.com is an international e-commerce company for consumers, sellers, and content creators.
Founded in 1994, it is the world's largest online retailer. Amazon.com started as an online bookstore but soon diversified into selling DVDs, VHS tapes, CDs, video and MP3 downloads, software, video games, electronics, apparel, furniture, food, toys, and jewelry. The company also produces consumer electronics, notably the Amazon Kindle e-book reader and the Kindle Fire tablet computer. It is also a major provider of cloud computing services.

Another product is Amazon Prime which is an annual membership program. This service provides free shipping, streaming, and access to books that can be borrowed and read on Kindle devices.
