Telstra Ventures (AVG) invests in market leading companies in mobile, cloud, media and other industries. Telstra seeks investments where it can leverage its go-to-market and product / service capabilities.

Globally, Telstra’s leadership provides its portfolio companies with some of the best “test markets” in the world. For example, Telstra’s Hong Kong mobile operator was the first operator to roll out LTE in Asia, Australia has among the highest iPhone and smartphone penetration in the world, and Australia enjoys high per capita income, English language and a robust legal environment.

At a high level, it seeks investments that have a minimum of $5M in revenues and investment opportunities between $5M and $25M with a focus on global leaders that are strategically linked to Telstra.
