Rose Tech Ventures is an early stage investment fund, incubator, and technology center in New York City run by David S. Rose, a serial entrepreneur and active angel investor described by Red Herring as the “patriarch of Silicon Alley”.
Headquartered in Manhattan’s Flatiron district, RTV has made investments in over 70 early stage technology companies, operates four floors of incubator/co-working space, and sponsors many events in the local tech community. Rose himself is the Founder and Chairman of New York Angels (the City’s largest angel investment group), Founder & CEO of Angelsoft (the back-end web platform used by most of the world’s angel networks), and Chairman of Egret Capital Partners (a middle-market private equity firm), all of which are co-located in the same building with RTV.
