Questmark Partners

Founded in late 1998 by former Alex. Brown bankers, QuestMark Partners is based in Baltimore, Maryland. They leverage years of combined investing, IPO, strategic consulting and buy-out experience within our team. QuestMark invests primarily in those industries where the principals have the most experience and where we believe the market dynamics and business models are the most compelling.

  • They invest $5 to $15 million in emerging growth companies with exceptional management teams and proven products and services.
  • Areas of focus include software, medical device, and internet-based businesses, as well as enterprises in broader technology, healthcare and consumer areas.
  • They cover the 48 continental states, with current investments headquartered in New England, California, Texas, the Southeast, the Northwest and Mid-Atlantic.

QuestMark Partners works with its portfolio companies through board seats or observation rights. Through their investments in the earlier QuestMark funds, combined with investment banking and consulting group experience, they are able to assist management teams in growing companies and capitalizing on business opportunities. Although management is expected to operate its company on a day-to-day basis, they also welcome the opportunity to assist in the areas of customer introductions, recruiting and finance.

QuestMark has over $750 million under management in three funds.
