This work is time intensive, not capital intensive; however, they make this commitment up front when professional investors are hard to find. While a typical project may require millions of their capital, it is not unusual for them to seed a project with an initial commitment of $100,000 - $500,000. In fact, some of their most successful companies began in their offices with a small capital commitment and a large commitment of their time and experience.
