Murex Investments is a group of investment funds providing capital to small businesses in the Mid-Atlantic region. With $20 million under management, Murex invests in strong companies that share upside with employees. The group includes an SBA-licensed New Markets Venture Capital Company and a U.S. Treasury-Certified Community Development Financial Institution.
The group was founded in 1998 by RHD, a $130 million diversified nonprofit organization with a more than 35-year track record of entrepreneurial development and strict fiscal discipline. Murex’s industry targets include both the technology companies that are needed to grow the regional economy, and the manufacturing and service companies that can provide quality jobs for low- to moderate-income people.
