LDC Ltd. is the private equity arm of Lloyds Banking Group plc specializing in investments in management buy-outs; institutional buy-outs; acquisition financings; pre-flotation funding; and development, replacement, and expansion capital transactions. The firm invests in unquoted middle market companies. The firm makes equity investments in companies which have turnover of least Ј5 million ($9.86 million) and profits before tax and interest in excess Ј1 million ($1.97 million). It seeks to invest in companies with enterprise values between Ђ12 million ($17.93 million) to Ђ300 million ($448.48 million). The Midlands team at the firm, is focused on opportunities in the Ј20 million ($33.13 million) to Ј250 million ($414.2 million) enterprise value arena. It seeks to invest in companies that have at least a two-year profit history. LDC Ltd. was founded in 1981 and is based in London, United Kingdom with additional offices across Europe and Asia.
