Lambert Media Group (LMG) is an investment and management company focused on strategic growth investments in entertainment, media and technology.
LMG’s current portfolio of venture investments includes curated web shopping site Ecomom and skill-based gaming platform Titan Gaming.
Its later-stage equity investments include Village Roadshow Pictures, a financing and production partner of Warner Brothers; Concord music, an independent record company and music publisher; and Rave Motion Pictures, the fifth-largest domestic film exhibitor chain.
LMG has previously made investments (now exited) in entrepreneurial ventures in media and entertainment such as Act III Cinemas, which was sold to KKR in 1997; and TV3 Russia, which was built from a bankrupt Russian television station in 1997 into a national broadcast network.
Before establishing LMG in 1992, founder Michael Lambert served as President of Domestic Television for 20th Century Fox, where he was instrumental in the acquisition of the Metromedia Television Station Group, which became the foundation of the Fox Broadcast Network. Previously, he created and led the Home Video division of HBO and was President of Domestic Television at Viacom, where he was involved in the start-up of the Showtime and Lifetime cable networks.
