In July of 2003 JAFCO Ventures was established with a new fund, a team of highly experienced venture capitalists and the strategic value of resources in Japan which are able to access the markets in Asia. Today JAFCO Ventures has $350 million under management with the recent closing of our third fund. We invest in early-stage technology companies within the communications, components, digital media, Internet, software and wireless sectors. In addition to the help we provide portfolio companies as seasoned venture capitalists, we add tangible value to portfolio companies with our Tokyo-based business development team dedicated to delivering significant revenue from the most prominent distributors and customers in Japan and other parts of Asia.
