HP Ventures
Founded on July 1st 2005 in the German city of Potsdam, Hasso Plattner Ventures has set out to support young entrepreneurs with the successful transformation of their ideas into marketable products. SAP co-founder Prof. Dr. h.c. Hasso Plattner provided the lion’s share of this investment capital, along with InvestitionsBank of Brandenburg and CMEA Ventures (HPV I). For our second fund HPV Europe we were able to win two more investors, Shai Agassi and Arnon Katz.
To date Hasso Plattner Ventures has successfully invested in 18 companies with accumulated revenues of 54.0 m Euro (2009). For 2010 we expect revenues to raise to 88.9 m Euro. Our portfolio companies give work to about 733 employees.
We look forward to further growth with exciting new investments across Europe and following investment rounds for our portfolio companies.
