Forrest Binkley & Brown (FBB) is an established private equity firm focused on investing in middle market buyouts and providing growth capital to companies that offer potential for a substantial increase in shareholder value and exceptional rates of return to investors. With offices in Irvine and San Diego, FBB seeks to invest primarily in companies located in California, with particular emphasis on the Southern California region.

Since its formation in 1993, FBB has invested more than $215 million in 52 portfolio companies. Many of its investments have been funded through the Small Business Investment Company (SBIC) program, with the Sid R. Bass and Lee M. Bass interests of Fort Worth, Texas providing the private capital. FBB is currently investing its fourth fund, Forrest Binkley & Brown Capital Partners, LLC, a non-SBIC private equity fund. FBB typically invests $2 million to $6 million in any single portfolio company, with an average investment of approximately $4 million.
