Econa AG

ECONA is an independent media and investment group based in Berlin, Germany.

As one of the pioneers of the German Internet business, they have been successfully founding and funding high-growth Internet and New Media companies since 1999.

ECONA operates its own network of special interest websites comprising portals like www.winload.de, www.macnews.de, www.abnehmen.net, www.sparwelt.de and www.unimall.de, which ECONA have partly founded themselves and partly acquired.

Besides their own websites ECONA is an investor in facebook.com, XING.com, zynga.com, smava.de and spickmich.de.

ECONA was founded and is being managed by entrepreneurs, all of whom possess their own start up- and growth experiences. They invest their own money share their entrepreneurial experience within the ECONA network.
