Buran Venture Capital (‘BVC’) is a venture fund founded in 2010 targeting to invest US$50m over the course of the next 4-5 years in Russia, CIS and Israel. Target sectors are e-commerce, on-line media, mobile Internet, communitament (communication+entertainment), SaaS. BVC invests from US$300k to US$3m in a single portfolio company. Key areas of value creation include strategy, corporate finance, fundraising, HR, financial controls and leveraging BVC’s relationship network.
