With the increased commoditization of technology, and the decrease in costs to start a business, it has become quite clear that small is the new big. Entrepreneurs no longer need huge first rounds of funding but are better off raising smaller initial rounds to prove out their model before raising true venture capital to scale their business.
BOLDstart Ventures was created to take advantage of this new environment by providing professional seed financing to Internet-enabled startups. We focus on ‘mobile-first,’ ‘social-layer,’ and ‘cloud/data infrastructure’ technologies, funding capital efficient and scalable businesses going after big opportunities.
