BlueCross BlueShield Venture Partners is a $116 million corporate venture fund, sponsored by the BlueCross and BlueShield Association, a national federation of 39 independent, community-based and locally operated Blue Cross and Blue Shield companies that collectively provide healthcare coverage for more than 102 million individuals - one-in-three Americans. The fund’s objective is to invest in promising emerging companies of strategic relevance to the 11 Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plans that have made voluntary capital commitments.
