NoSlack, I think you are misinterpreting the data. August Capital was the lead or co-lead investor in the first venture financing of each of the companies listed above (with the exception of Technorati, in which August Capital was the largest investor in the seed round). While we will gladly look at interesting later-stage deals, our focus has always been and remains early stage investments. The partners of August Capital were the first institutional investors in Microsoft, Sun, Seagate, Intuit, Symantec, Atheros, Visio, Shopping.com, Postini, and many more.
