Aster Capital is a leading venture capital firm sponsored by Alstom, Schneider Electric and Rhodia, three global leaders with combined revenues in excess of US$60bn.

Since 2000, Aster’s mission (formerly Schneider Electric Ventures) has been to support innovative start-ups by accelerating their growth. We focus on highly promising companies that have developed superior solutions to solve global challenges in the energy and environment sectors.

We focus on start-ups where we can help creating value by leveraging our industrial sponsors. For example, by setting-up business partnerships, facilitating market access or joint-development agreements with Alstom, Solvay/Rhodia and/or Schneider Electric, we help our entrepreneurs to achieve their ambitions.

Aster II, a €105M fund launched in 2010 is managed by our team in Europe, North America, China, Japan and Israel, providing Aster with a global footprint to invest in the best companies worldwide.
