Youbetme is a patent pending consumer technology developed on the cloud with an HTML5 interface that allows nearly anyone, anywhere, anytime to place a bet with their friends. Our product makes this everyday experience easier and more fun.
The company has secured $640,000 in Seed-level funding from two private angel investors and a New York based venture capital fund, OmegaGE. Raised for the purpose of marketing and ongoing programming development for a new service designed to revolutionize the social betting experience, Youbetme caters to sports enthusiasts, college students, young professionals, and anyone seeking a simple and engaging way to place a friendly wager on anything and everything. The initial North American launch is a mobile, web optimized experience across Android, iOS and Blackberry operating systems, which will ultimately lead to a native app, due out this Fall.
Youbetme was co-founded by Jason Neubauer and Justin Jarman. The founding team also consists of CTO Nils Lahr, who was the lead architect and inventor of iBEAM Broadcasting, and current co-founder of Synergy Sports Technology. Followed by Andrew Arata who is the Senior VP of Business Development, and User Acquisition Expert Chris Hedgecock, founder of Zeropaid.com and Yumm.com. Not to mention a powerhouse advisory board including: Brad Klaus CEO of Extole, Bob Lindsey a video game veteran and Managing Partner of Lindsey Consulting group, and Jon Matonis an economist and a leading virtual currency expert.
