Yipme

Yipme, founded in 2011 by Adrian Thomas, Peter Tuszynski, and Christopher Podoba, is a location-based social networking service that allows users to connect with friends and interact with others based on proximity. Users can share their location with friends via “checking-in,” and make new connections by chatting–in real-time–with friends and people nearby. Yipme is also the first social network to feature Augmented Reality.
