The two founders are aiming to create the largest platform in this space and match people who rent boats or charter boats with fleet operator or agencies or boat owners. The search engine is going to help charter boat operators with an easy and inexpensive acquisition of new customers.
Right from the start Yachtico offers over 10,000 sailing boats, motor boats, catamarans, house boats and yachts on its platform. Whenever a customer books through Yachtico.com, the order will be forwarded to an external provider and Yachtico receives a commission. Boat provider can offer their boats here for a listing fee or they pay per customer request.
