CloudTop is a web based operating system (WebOS / CloudOS) formerly known as icloud.com. Accessible by all major web browsers, CloudTop has unique features such as rich online collaboration, social networking and easy publishing.

What differentiates CloudTop from other WebOS is that it completely runs within the browser, which makes the applications on CloudTop execute locally with very limited server round-trips. This also enables CloudTop to continue to work offline.

Currently CloudTop has been taken offline for rebranding purposes, but will go live again soon before end of 2012.

Xcerion, the owner of CloudTop started building on the CloudTop service in 2001, which resulted in its first launch in 2009 as icloud.com.
