The WorldMate application pieces together every aspect of a user’s trip and then monitors the user’s journey in real-time to make sure everything runs smoothly. The traveler starts by simply forwarding his flight, hotel and car rental confirmation emails to trips@worldmate.com and WorldMate sorts the elements into an easy-to-read, comprehensive itinerary. That itinerary is synchronized to the users Smartphone for offline viewing, even while flying at 35,000 feet. Each element of the itinerary is interactive —users clicking the flight get the flight status or to find alternative flights for the same route, click the hotel to get a map and driving directions, click the car rental listing to get the car type and reservation number. The app comes complete with a home screen that displays upcoming trips, the local and home time, and a weather forecast display.
