WiserTogether helps employers cut health care costs by helping their employees make better, more cost effective health decisions and take appropriate ownership of their care. WiserTogether has replicated the (offline) health decision-making process and uses unique (and proprietary) data, technology and visualization techniques to assist, accelerate and improve decision-making. Users make health decisions faster and with greater confidence and spend less (out of pocket and overall) to achieve their outcomes.
WiserTogether’s first application – targeting pregnancy care decisions – is currently being offered to employers and health insurers. Wiser Pregnancy (the company’s first application) collects and displays the world’s largest database of pregnancy-related experiences, options, actions and outcomes collected from pregnant OB/GYNs and consumers. The 1.4MM data points strong database contains individual preferences information across 70+ issues covering 1,050 options. As part of its decision support, Wiser Pregnancy creates a unique decision table for each of the 70+ issues a pregnant woman and her family will face during a typical pregnancy.
Wiser Pregnancy is a rapidly growing service and is being licensed to self insured corporations to be made available to their employees. Since beta launch (February ‘10), WiserTogether has sold its offering to Fortune 100 organizations.
