Nefsis

WebsiteNefsis.com

Nefsis is WiredRed’s 2nd generation Web & Video Conferencing Software that is provided either as a Software as a Service application or can be installed as a private, on-premise solution.

Nefsis makes it easy for multiple office employees and virtual teams to work together - wherever they’re based. There’s no need for expensive hardware based video end-points, CODECs, video conferencing MCUs, etc - today’s audio and video conferencing devices are just standard off-the shelf peripherals. Whether it’s a webcam and headset or a full audio conferencing setup with a dedicated, motorised, Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ) HD camera — it is still just a peripheral to a PC-based software application. Desktop HD web-cameras, i.e. 720p at 30fps, are available for €50 and an echo cancelling, desktop speakerphone for less than €200. If conference room / boardroom installations are required, a Full-HD camera (e.g. Sony EVI HD-1) is again just a peripheral.

What makes Nefsis “2nd Generation” is that it provides a true, massively distributed global cloud for a high quality multipoint video conferencing experience. The Nefsis cloud constantly adapts to changing conditions on the Internet, as well as local networks, delivering a video conferencing experience equal to proprietary hardware based equipment.
