Wine.com is the #1 online wine retailer in the United States (source: Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide) for wine enthusiasts. It is an online resource offering not only expert advice, but a selection of wines, gift baskets, gift certificates and monthly wine clubs.

The company was originally founded in 1998 as eVineyard.com, but re-launched as Wine.com when they acquired the domain name and assets in 2001.

In 2010, Wine.com launched WineShopper, a members-only website featuring exclusive deals on limited quantities of wine. Wine.com and WineShopper combined have registered more than 1 million users.
