Wellocities.com is an online social network for Canadians with Diabetes. In essence, it works as a support group for users in addition to providing useful tools and information that can help them deal with diabetes.

Wellocities.com launched on November 14, 2007 - World Diabetes Day. The site is set up as an information-sharing social network. So the majority of the info users will find is through blog posts written by other users. There are also group discussions users can participate in, as well as a search tool for finding facilities and doctors near by.

Similar online health communities like Wellocities.com include OrganizedWisdom and TauMed.
