Wee Web, from the founders of Meetup.com, is a social sharing utility for parents of newborns and small children. The service provides a platform for timely sharing between family members and close friends in a secure environment.
The site permits parents to email in short blurbs, as well as photos, that automatically update their child’s page, which can only be viewed by invited family and close friends. People who receive invitations can control how often they receive update alerts.
On May 18th, Wee Web announced that it will be acquiring Freshman Fund, the college savings registry.
