WatchDoit was built with the purpose of letting the community decide on which instructional videos provide the best and most useful content.
Using a combination of original, user-created content and the best how-to video clips available on the Internet, www.WatchDoit.com has created a community – and a hub – designed to teach web users how to perfect a craft, master a new skill, or simply learn something new.
Based in Fresno, CA, www.Watchdoit.com focuses on bringing together videos that are entertaining as well as instructional, and cover topics ranging from everyday tasks to extreme sports and business skills.
The idea for WatchDoit was generated at the Lyles Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at California State University, Fresno, where President Brendan Kane was a graduate student. WatchDoit is a recipient of venture capital funding from the Fresno-based Bulldog Capital Partners.
