WARSTUFF

Like eBay, but only for militaria and war relics and run with policies to suit dealers and collectors in this niche.

WARSTUFF is a British online auction and shopping website, noteable as a niche destination that allows the listing and sale of military and militaria collectables that other generalist auction sites such as eBay do not allow.

Founded in 2009, the WARSTUFF militaria marketplace allows a growing community of buyers and sellers to trade in all of these items as well as other collectable military artefacts, as long as items can be sold legally in the UK and US and do not violate the restrictions outlined in the site’s selling policies.

WARSTUFF currently offers free membership. The site offers several types of selling including auctions, auctions with reserve, fixed price and best offer. There is also a mobile version of the site.

Sellers can import listings and feedback from eBay using a custom Import feature. The site also allows bulk uploads of items via a CSV template. Listings and feedback on eBay are unaffected by this service.

WARSTUFF maintains a number of specialty sites aimed at collectors and dealers with interests in specific conflicts. Vietnamwarstuff.com, for example, provides information about the Vietnam War and showcases Vietnam War Relics for sale on the parent site. There are twenty specialist sites in total.

WARSTUFF also operates facebook, twitter and youtube sites as well as blog and press pages. Posts include interesting links pertaining to war history, militaria, relics, armed services news, and more. A monthly newsletter is sent out which includes a digest of the community content posted over the month as well as news on site developments and notable items for sale.

A number of unusual items have been placed for sale on WARSTUFF in the last year, including a restored 1970’s Hawker Harrier ‘Jump Jet’ for static display that eBay publically rejected as it contravened their weapons policy, and a Hawker Hurricane WW2 fighter plane in flying condition that carried a price tag of £2m.

If military history or collecting militaria is your passion, then WARSTUFF is for you. It’s run by collectors just like you.
