Palo Alto based Vuze is the provider of one of the most popular P2P applications for file transfer found on the internet today, Azureus. The 140 million downloaders of Vuze come from 100 countries, and they share long-form, High Definition or DVD-like videos. In addition, Vuze has partnered with many media corporations including BBC Worldwide, Showtime Networks and A&E to provide licensed digital content.
Vuze, Inc. was formed by some of the core developers of the open source BitTorrent client Azureus.

Vuze (formerly Zudeo) is a “commercial-grade platform” that serves as both a BitTorrent client and content service. Vuse takes the technology behind Azureus 3.0 and uses it to create a platform for publishers to distribute their content for free.
When the program is started it has the new “Vuze look,” which is much more polished than the Azureus BitTorrent client. Users can start downloading content with only a click. The client can be used to upload, download and share DVD quality and high-definition video. The company also has distribution deals with multiple television, film and media companies to distribute their work. Content from such companies as the BBC, A&E and Showtime can be rented or purchased (unfortunately with DRM).
If you can’t find what you’re looking for, but you know there is a torrent out there, Vuze can still help you. There is an “Advanced” link, which when clicked, brings up the Azureus interface you may be familiar with. From here it’s easy to create and open torrents.
