Background: Pendulab (the original company name for Viwawa) was founded in 2001 to develop pioneering real time chat technology. The company became a leader in the enterprise chat industry winning over 1,000 customers, which included numerous Fortune 500 companies. Pendulab was acquired in 2004 by SilkRoad Equity. In 2008, the company launched its first games on the Viwawa portal including one of the first multi-player games in Southeast Asia. In 2011, Viwawa.com became the largest independent social game website with over 3.2 million registered users. Pendulab was re-named as Viwawa in 2012.
