Company History
VERDE Suite
Virtual Enterprise Remote Desktop Environment (VERDE) is the company’s flagship product suite, comprised of:
VERDE Core technology scales like no other VDI platform. Built on open Linux standards, VERDE’s scaling model is a Web 2.0 horizontal model where each server is a wholly capable, standalone instance of the complete infrastructure. Provides Gold Master Image provisioning, seamless integration with LDAP compliant directory services, and Storage Optimizer technology to lower costs and increase performance.
VERDE VDI client authenticates users and provides access to user desktop sessions running on VERDE servers. VERDE VDI client can run on Windows, Linux, Macintosh, netbooks, Thin Clients, and PDAs. Users can launch more than one virtual desktop session simultaneously by running multiple client sessions and multiple monitors.
VERDE Cloud Branch connects to the central VERDE cluster and gold image repository to replicate the gold master images and subsequent updates. Desktop images are managed in the data center. At the same time, the virtual desktop sessions are served locally from the VERDE Cloud Branch Server. This configuration provides LAN-level performance for users.
VERDE Console is a Web-based monitoring console that offers real-time visibility to all virtual desktop sessions running on VERDE cluster servers. Administrators have flexibility to view virtual desktop sessions grouped by user or server, or based on type of Gold Image. The console also provides real-time server utilization metrics.
VERDE Live Environment Access Format (LEAF) allows users to carry their virtual desktops on a portable drive for disconnected use. Users connect the drive to any VT-enabled PC to securely launch their virtual desktops.
VERDE include bi-directional data synchronization for user documents to the central VERDE server. Users can switch between VDI and disconnected use while maintaining the same desktop experience which can facilitate disaster recovery.
